But a few things first. I am in the process of adding different pages, notice the tabs at the top of the page, also I am attempting to add the design files(pes format, because that is what I have) for you to download from a secondary site called 4shared (a file sharing site). YOU WILL NEED TO SET UP A FREE ACCOUNT ON 4SHARED TO DOWNLOAD THE DESIGNS Please let me know if the links I have added work and you are able to download them. If you are unable to download them please let me know so I can work on getting it fixed and please be patient I will work on getting all the kinks worked out.
Designs for this month can be found Here (these are the designs that Jan or Shelley have made, not copyrighted designs)
Don't forget about the fabric challenge
Fabric Challenge: Use some or all of the fabric in a project. You can cut up to make a quilt block, use as an applique, use in a baby bib...whatever you think would be fun. Bring to club next month for Show and Tell. If you missed club there are extra fabric squares in the classroom drawer labeled Embroidery Club.
Also remember we started the U.F.O.s? If you weren't at club don't worry I will explain...each month at club two random name will be drawn out and each of those will be given the U.F.O. (unfinished object) You then will take it home and put it on your fridge (because it has a magnet) and you will pull out one of your unfinished object, finish it and bring it back to club the following month. Don't forget to bring the magnet back with you so everyone can have a turn getting it.
This month's U.F.O.s went to
Tina Rino & If you were the other one that received this will you let me know and I will get it added.
Jan showed us some fun ideas for Dads, grads and weddings. It seems to be the time of year for all 3 around my house how about yours?
King of the remote pillow...I am sure we all know someone who could use this cute pillow. I love the pocket on it for Dad to put the remote in (if he is willing to part with it long enough)
The idea came from Crafts 'n things magazine.
Here is their version of it. It is in the June 2011 issue.
How about a monogrammed tie for dad or your grad.
How about these also from Crafts 'n Things magazine...fill with cedar chips and put in dad's shoes for no more smelly shoes.
Love this cute mustache tag. The mustache is from Embroitique
What a fun way to give money...In case of emergency break glass. Jan got the picture frame from the dollar store and folded the 10.00 bill in half to make it look like more money. How cute is this and it works for dads, grads, and weddings.
This may be my favorite project. I love everything about this...the saying, the design of the whole thing the colors. Jan has made it into a small pillow with a pocket on the back to include money or a gift card. She also had the idea of stitching it out on a pocket of a bag. I would love to make it into a card.
She has sent the design file out both with and without the graduation cap in 2 sizes.
Another great idea and so versatile...You may be asking what is it? Besides genius
it is a car kit. Isn't this the coolest idea? Download the Super dad design(pictured above)Here
or a second version of the design(I don't have a picture)Here.
But wait picture it as a makeup kit, a sewing kit (maybe for hand embroidery), a first aid kit, to hold toys and crayons...the possibilities are endless...in fact I am making one for diapers and wipes to go in my diaper bag and one for traveling to put all of our chargers and cords in. I already have started gathering my supplies.
The idea was found on this blog. Not Martha. Jan has attached a word document with step by step instructions on how to make it. Or you can download it Here
How about some cute graduation cap key chains for your grad?
What dad wouldn't love a board to put all of his stuff and pictures on? This idea was found on Sisters of the wild west blog.
How cute is this manila file folder? Jan has emailed out 2 sizes of this design.
Here is the how to:

Place mats for the Mr. and Mrs.
This darling idea was found on Pine needles website but was hand embroidered.
What a fun gift this would be for a wedding to give with a fun recipe and the ingredients.
What a fun way for the kids to remember all of their friends from school.
Wouldn't this make a great wedding gift? Who doesn't want something personalized hanging in their home. This design is from Embroidery Library (scroll down almost half way to find it)
Here is a close up of the design.
Look how cute this apron for dad is, with this "Jetsons" space like design. This is also from Embroidery Library
How about a jean pocket pot holder for dad? You can find the tutorial Here
Thanks Jan for all the great ideas. I am sure we will all be busy working on those gifts for dad, grads, and upcoming weddings. If you make any of these send me a picture of the finished product and I will post it we would love to see your take on these projects.
Now it's time for show n tell
Shelly W. made this cute bib for fathers day, and is sharing her design with us.
She also stiched out darling little tie earrings that of course will be in your email

Alice made both bibs above for her little grandson
Tina Rino showed us this darling quilt with the airplanes and propellers. I love the bright colors
Dawnene made these pillows and before embroidering the words on them she took a sharpie and wrote everything she could think of that related to the two words.
Anna made a cute onesie that says fresh from the oven
Anna also showed us these adorable monsters from Designs by Juju (they are the monsters under my bed applique) that she made and stuffed (just a little not to much)while still on the hoop. They are so cute and I already have this set of designs so I know what I will be working on.
Anna also showed us this cute fair quilt she made. How cute are those fairies? I love the colors she used. She got them from Designs by sick. I love how she used organza type fabric for the wings. The castle and the wands are not machine embroidered the pattern for those was found on Ribbon candy quilts blog.
here is a close up so you can see how cute the fairies are

I found this dress at walmart for 5.00 and decided to add a cute black and white design to it so when I found the flower garden design from Planet Applique I knew that is what I wanted. Right now (5-29-12) it is .99 cents. I am not sure how long their designs are on sale so go get it quick.
We have season tickets to the Blaze football games and my princess needed a "game day" outfit, so I embroidered a helmet in the teams colors on a onesie and bought the black and orange petti skirt from Halo Heaven the helmet design is also from Planet Applique (here) and is .99cents as well.
I found these mote books at the dollar store and was hoping I could embroider on the cover. Took them home carefully peeled back the cover and was able to embroider an initial using the font and flowers already on my machine. (You will not be able to hoop this). I have only found these notebooks at the store by me so good luck, if you find them I would be glad to know which store. They have this tan color an orange, and royal blue.
